We need to put nutrition and seeds at the center of security against climate change. Nutrition per acre should be the new norm as against yield per acre. Women play a key role in conserving such local seed varieties that have strong properties of climate resilience, and thereby providing solutions. In this context there needs to be more interaction and efficient dialogue between NPS and Parties and Parties need to recognize these solutions that are already being implemented on the ground thereby raising ambitions.
